Challenge
This homeowner contacted our company with comfort issues within their home. During the inspection, it was evident that there was air leaking throughout the top of the home causing wind washing, missing insulation in some areas, and burrow holes from pests in the attic area causing efficiency problems. During our assessment, we also inspected the roof. While on the roof we found cracking of shingles, pipe penetrations were corroding, and wet spots near the valleys. We also noticed missing shingles in some areas, along with severe cracking near the ridge of the roof.
Solution

For the comfort issues we turned to an encapsulation using spray foam insulation on the roof deck and a new bathroom ventilation system.
